August Rush, stars Freddie Highmore as Evan, a talented young boy who lives in an orphanage but believes his birth parents, played by Keri Russell and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, may still be alive. Evan travels to New York City, where he becomes a musical prodigy and is taken in by a man named Wizard (Robin Williams) and eventually ends up studying at the Juilliard School.
The movie received an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song, but it lost to the song "Falling Slowly" from the film Once.
