If your music is sounding too flat, you can adjust certain elements of it with the Graphic equalizer.
1. While playing a video with Windows Media Player, right click the playing video and click Enhancements --> Graphic equalizer.
2. Click Turn on to turn Graphic equalizer on. Click it again to turn it off.
3. Right click on the preset genre displayed, such as Rock, to bring up a list of presets. Each preset automatically adjusts the sliders to certain positions. These are the positions that Windows Media Player has determined would sound best with the corresponding genre of music.
4. Click and drag any slider up and down to adjust it.
5. Select any of the three icons on the left to change the way you adjust the sliders. The top icon allows you to change any slider independently of the others. The wave icon makes the sliders move in a wave fashion when you adjust one. The line icon lines all of the sliders up with the one you adjust.
6. Click Reset to return the sliders to their default positions.
