• History

  The TT was named after the Isle of Man TT race, at which the Audi pedigree has a long history of success. In 1994, Development began on the TT at the Volkswagen/Audi Design Center California. The car debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1995 as a concept car. The car was later approved for production and introduced in 1998 as a coupe.
