  • War Eagle

The school plays home games in their on-campus facility known as Jordan-Hare Stadium. In addition to Sullivan and Jackson, other former players that have helped build the reputation of the program into one of prominence include: Tracy Rocker, Carlos Rogers, Jimmy Hitchcock, Tucker Frederickson, Takeo Spikes, Aundray Bruce, Wayne Gandy, Carnell Williams, Victor Riley and Jason Campbell. The "War Eagle" chant is said to have started because of an eagle that used to position itself in one end zone and the fact that teams failed to score when driving towards that end zone, leading to the chant "War Eagle."
