Auburn Student Found Shot to Death

Lauren Burk, Freshman at Auburn University was found shot to death on a highway near the campus. She was taken to the hospital where she then later died. Her car was found engulfed in flames in a parking lot at Auburn University.
- UPDATE: Courtney Lockhart's signed confession was read in court on March 10, 2008. He admitted to robbing, abducting, and shooting Lauren Burk, as well as setting her car on fire following the murder.
