After collaborating on the 2005 film Pride and Prejudice, director Joe Wright, composer Dario Marianelli and pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet teamed again for Wright's 2007 movie, Atonement.
The music earned Marianelli a "Best Original Score" Oscar and Golden Globe in 2008, as well as additional trophies from the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the International Film Music Critics Association.
