History
Belmont wins the third straight title in Atlantic Sun Conference in 2005 to 2008, they beat Jacksonville Dolphins 79-61, ETSU Buccaneers, 94-67, and Lipscomb Bisons 74-69. They are one of the six teams in the country to have earned its league's automatic bid in each of the last three seasons. Forward Shane Dansby of Belmont Bruins earned the tournament MVP in 2007-08 season. -
