ATDHE.me
ATDHE.me is the newest version of ATDHE.net, the popular website that once allowed you to download full-length television episodes online. The website was shut down and seized on February 1, 2011 by the ICE, part of Homeland Security Investigations. The content-sharing portal came under a particular amount of both scrutiny and fire, as the platform featured full-length content from major entertainment studios such as ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS. Shortly after the original website and URL were taken down by the authorities, the site's Twitter feed announced that they planned on moving the service to a new domain name.
The website specializes in live-steaming sports, but also features programming over every major network and genre.
ATDHE.me Videos
ATDHE.net was not alone in being shut down during the month of February, 2011. Reports confirm that several other sites - ones that specialized in streaming live sporting events - were seized by the ICE, with traffic and downloads being instantly cut off.
Removed From Google
Aside from being seized by the US Government in February of 2011, ATDHE.net was also removed, or de-indexed, from Google's search results. This came as a result from a DMCA takedown notice that was filed against the website, on behalf of Zuffa, LLC. While Google is a primary driver of traffic for many websites, services and sites like ATDHE.net are often well-known and visited more directly, rather than through organic Google Searches.
Browser Compatibility
The new ATDHE does not work with every browser and/or computer. The website requires the proper DIVX codec and player to be installed, and it doesn't seem to work with with Macs, as opposed to PC. Different users will notice different levels of success when trying to watch live streaming sports and TV on ATDHE.me.
