The iPhone version of the Assassin's Creed franchise is presented in full 3D. However, the game is not an all-new experience, but rather a part of a previously-released handheld version of the game for the Nintendo DS.http://kotaku.com/5210803/first-look-at-assassins-creed-on-iphone
About the Game
The Nintendo DS and iPhone have a lot in common in terms of gaming capabilities. Both devices have fairly adequate 3D rendering abilities, with the iPhone being the more powerful of the two, and both handhelds also sport touchscreens. The portable version of Assassin's Creed features combat scenarios as well as the standard stealth fare that the console iterations thrived on.
The touchscreen comes into play during mini-game sections where the player must pick a pocket or retrieve other intel on an intended target by doing things such as interrogating witnesses who may be able to provide you with additional information on where your victim resides.IGN: Assassin's Creed Exclusive First Look (April 13, 2009)
