Assassin's Creed iPhone

The iPhone will be receiving a game in the Assassin's Creed franchise and it will be presented in full 3D. However, the game will not be an all-new experience, but rather a port of a previously-released handheld version of the game.Kotaku: First look at Assassin's Creed on iPhone (April 14, 2009)
About the Game

The Nintendo DS and iPhone have much in common in terms of gaming capabilities. Both devices have fairly adequate 3D rendering abilities, with the iPhone being the more powerful of the two, and both handhelds also sport touchscreens.
The portable version of Assassin's Creed which appeared on the DS, and will presumably appear on the iPhone, features combat scenarios as well as the standard stealth fare that the console iterations thrived on.
The touchscreen comes into play during mini-game sections where the player must pick a pocket or retrieve other intel on an intended target by doing things such as interrogating witnesses who may be able to provide you with additional information on where your victim resides.IGN: Assassin's Creed Exclusive First Look (April 13, 2009)
