While the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Ultimate Equipment can be obtained in the game only by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the artifacts can be found by Desmond Miles after he leaves the Animus. In present day, Desmond can travel to several locations that were accessed in the past by Ezio. The ultimate equipment consists in armors with increased protection and weapons with amplified damage. These weapons are unique in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and are well hidden within the city. Some of these items will even require other artifacts in order to unlock them. The Dagger and Armor of Brutus is a set of 2 pieces that can be found in a vault under Prospero da Siena’a Tower. Unlike the ultimate equipment, the artifacts can be found in the present day when the player controls Desmond Miles. If Desmond leaves the Animus he will be able to travel to Monteriggioni and visit the Sanctuary.
