In Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Ezio Auditore da Firenze can unlock several War Machine Models used in 1499, the year when the action of the game takes place. These models will become available to Ezio only after he performs certain quest in the game. During his stay in Rome these inventions as well as the war machines will help Ezio Auditore to defeat the Order of Templars faster since this is his main quest. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood continues the story started in Assassin’s Creed 2 but this time, Ezio’s uncle won’t appear in the game. Each War Machine Model will be unlocked after Ezio successfully completes the corresponding mission in the game. There are four models and four different quests. To unlock the Tank Model, Ezio must complete the “Hell on Wheels” mission, while the “Flying Machine 2.0″ will grant access to the Bomber Model. The Naval Cannon Model will be acquired after the player finishes the “Loose Cannon” mission, and the Machine Gun Model will be automatically unlocked if the “Outgunned” quest is completed.

Leonardo da Vinci is a character who originally appeared in Assassin’s Creed 2 when Ezio was asked to pick up a package for his mother. Since then, Leonardo da Vinci became Ezio’s friend and helped him by improving his weapons and items. In Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Leonardo da Vinci will offer a unique item to Ezio if the player finishes all the War Machine Quests.
