Assassin’s Creed II is a third person action adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. This game is available for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. This is the second installment in the Assassin’s Creed Series and is noted as the ‘direct sequel’ to the 2007 game Assassin’s Creed. This game was released in November 2009 for the Xbox 360 and ps3; and in March 2010 for pc.

This video game is set in the year 2012 and the main character controlled by the player is a protagonist by the name of Desmond Miles. Miles has escaped from Abstergo Industries alongside a former employee of the company Lucy Stillman. In the beginning of the game it shows Miles escaping so he no longer has to be forced into relive the memories of an ancestral assassin. Miles was able to relive these memories via a machine called the Animus. Upon his escape, Miles enters a device known as the Animus 2.0, which is a more upgraded version of the original. This time he decides to relive the memories of an ancestral noblemen who lived in the Renaissance period in the late fifteenth century, in Italy.

During this game the player has free roam over the world, as locations become available. The game is also improved as far as the enemies are concerned; they are a smarter version of AI and combat mechanics. This installment in the series also allows for players to purchase items such as outfits, weapons, accessories, armor and health.
