Assassin's Creed 2 Ezio

In addition to the leaked images of the not-yet-released May issue of Game Informer, some further details about the game's plot were also released.

Ezio appears to be yet another murderous ancestor of Desmond, a man who is undergoing genetic experiments and also appeared in the first game. The majority of the game is rumored to take place in the 1470's in Florence.

Aside from the new setting and historical era, the player will also have additional abilities that were not available in the first game such as being able to swim and the option to utilize machines.

Missions will also be set up a bit differently in that they will not all revolve around gather information and committing assassinations.
