For the first three seasons of Dancing With The Stars (DWTS), Ashly Costa was known as Ashly DelGrosso. After a whirlwind courtship, Ashly and Mike Costa were married, on October 21, 2006, in a Los Angeles ceremony. The newlywed took a three year hiatus from DWTS. Ashly returned on March 22, 2010 with the astronaut Buzz Aldrin as her new dance partner.

Costa's previous partners were Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block, rap star Master P., and entertainer Harry Hamlin and during her career she has had many achievements and awards. During her time away, Costa kept herself busy with her new husband and her two young sons.

Ashly Costa is no stranger to success. She started dancing at the tender age of three in her mothers dance studio'. From a very early age Costa knew what she wanted to do with her life and nothing has stood in her way.

Costa enjoys dancing and she has made it her career, but there is nothing that comes before her desire to learn as much as she can about the gospel of Jesus Christ and she makes that her main focus. Spending time in the outdoors and spending time with family and friends round out the rest of her life.
