Ashley Parker Angel is an American musician and former member of defunct boy band O-Town. His first solo album was released in May, 2006, by Blackground Records. His first single off of the album was "Let You Go", which reached the twelfth spot on the US Hot 100. It debuted on MTV on March 14, 2006, and by March 24, 2006, it had reached the number one spot.
In the early part of 2006, Angel could be seen in the reality show There and Back, which chronicled his attempts to break into the music business as a solo artist, along with the struggles within his personal life, including the birth of his first son, Lyric.
Angel made his Broadway debut on January 19, 2007, in the musical Hairspray, as Link Larkin.
