Ashley Alexandra Dupre worked as an escort for the Emperors Club VIP service under the name of Kristen. The New York Times revealed on March 11 that one of Dupre's clients was former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, who has resigned amidst the ensuing scandal. Dupre, whose birth name is Ashley Youmans, started a MySpace page to promote her burgeoning music career, featuring her first single, "What We Want" along with a variety of personal photos and blog posts. According to her MySpace bio, the New Jersey native ran away from home at 17, leaving behind "a broken family" and "abuse."
