Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz tied the knot on Saturday May 17, 2008.
Simpson wore a wedding gown made from ivory lace by designer Monique Lhuillier, a diamond necklace and diamond earrings from Neil Lane.
Joe Simpson performed the non-denominational ceremony and Jessica Simpson was her maid of honor. Wentz's English bulldog Hemingway served as the ring bearer.
Ashlee Simpson and wedding planner Mindy Weiss worked together to create an Alice in Wonderland themed reception featuring a cake by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings.
Wedding Photos
On May 21, 2008 People Magazine released the first photo from Simpson and Wentz's wedding. It has been reported that People Magazine paid the couple $1 million for the first wedding pictures. More photos from the wedding can be seen in the April/May 2008 issue of the magazine.
