The ASEAN Summit is an annual, three-day meeting held by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to discuss issues of economic and cultural development in Southeast Asia.
Involved Countries
The summit is led by the ASEAN+3, China, Japan, and South Korea, and often communicates with western countries, designated "dialogue partners," during the summit. However, The United States has been historically barred from the summit.
