As I Lay Dying

As I Lay Dying is a metal band from California that was formed in 2001. The first full length album from the band, Beneath the Encasing of Ashes was released in 2001 on Pluto Records. In 2003 the band signed a deal with Metal Blade Records and released the album Frail Words Collapse, which contains the band's signature song "Forever". The album has sold over 250,000 copies.
