Arvin Kenti Edwards

On April 18, 2008, Arvin Kenti Edwards was charged with three counts of attempted murder and three counts of battery, following a brawl at a Las Vegas strip club in February 2007. Court documents show that Edwards tried to extort $15,000 from Jones, in order for Edwards silence regarding the brawl.

The fight began when professional football player, Pacman Jones, began throwing cash at strippers. Jones then became angry when the women tried to pick up the money. A fight ensued between patrons of the club. In all the mayhem, shots were fired outside of the club, injuring three people

In a plea deal, Jones pleaded no contest to conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct. In turn, his two felony charges were reduced. Jones agreed to cooperate with authorities and tell police what he knew in regards to the shooter.

Edwards was arrested on unrelated domestic violence charges on March 27, 2008. He was identified as being the shooter by an unnamed source, and charged on April 18, 2008, while already in prison.
