On December 9, 2007, a shooting in Arvada, Colorado took the lives of Phillip Crouse and Tiffany Johnson. The two were working in a dormitory at the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) training center at the time.

- The gunshots came through the open doorway, ultimately killing (Tiffany) Johnson and Philip Crouse, 24, of Alaska. Two other staffers were injured before the man, described as a white male in his 20s, ran. Both of the injured are men in their early 20s. One was in critical condition this morning, while the other was listed as stable.
