Arturo Gatti

Boxer Arturo Gatti was found dead in a hotel room in Porto de Galinhas, Brazil on July 11, 2009. His body was being exhumed at his family's request, and a new autopsy was be performed by the Quebec coroner's office. Arturo Gatti had been in Brazil on vacation with his wife, Amanda Rodrigues and 10 month old child at the time of his death. On July 12, 2009, Gatti's wife, Amanda Carina Barbosa Rodrigues, was arrested for Gatti's murder . According to police, Gatti was found with strangulation marks on his neck and his wife had several inconsistencies in her story.
