  • Congressman Artur Davis represents the 7th District of Alabama in the U.S. House of Representatives.   • Life and Background

    Davis grew up in an impoverished section of west Montgomery, Alabama, but managed to graduate magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1990. He received his degree from Harvard Law School in 1993. In the House, Davis serves on the Ways and Means Committee, as well as the Judiciary Committee. Davis has focused a great deal of attention on eliminating the sale of drugs in his district, as well as on pursuing white collar criminals.
