Artie Lange announced his return on the April 21 broadcast of the Howard Stern show. Lang abruptly walked-off the show before the crew went on vacation on April 10, 2008. The incident which lead to Lange quitting involved his assistant "Teddy Microphone." On the April 11th show, Lange accused his assistant of stealing money from him, the argument escalated, ending with Lang attempting to physically attack Teddy. Lange apologized to everyone involved and claimed full responsibility for the incident.
