Comedian Artie Lange resigned from The Howard Stern Show during the show's April 10, 2008 broadcast.

While off the air, Lange was arguing with his assistant, "Teddy Microphone," about travel expenses for a trip to Amsterdam the following day. When Howard Stern asked that Teddy discuss the matter on the air, the argument escalated.

The situation became physical, and the two had to be restrained. After Stern scolded Lange, he offered his resignation.
