Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure. It involves examining damage to a joint using an arthroscope. During the procedure the surgeon will make a small incision and insert a pencil sized instruments with a light and lens to illuminate the inside of the joint. A camera helps them observe the joint on a television type screen.
