Art Style Orbient

Art Style Orbient is an action puzzle game that was revolves around the theme of moving planets and satellites into orbits. The game was developed by Skip Ltd. and published by Nintendo. The game was originally a Japan exclusive release on Game Boy Advance under the title bit Generations: Orbital. The western release was on Wii and it was released on September 29, 2008. The game is a part of Nintendo's Art Style series and is the first installment of the series.

Gameplay

The game is controlled using the Wii remote. Only the A and B buttons are needed. The player takes a role of a small gray planet. It needs to manipulate its gravity to absorb other planets, place planets in its orbit, or to stay away from larger planets or meteors. The A button activates the planet's gravity. The gravity will pull the player planet towards other planets. The gravity may not pull the planet to the closest planet but towards the area that has the strongest pull. The B button activates the planet's anti-gravity. It has the opposite effect of the gravity since the player planet is pushing itself away from the planets. The game is divided up into 50 levels. The objection of each level is to absorb blue planets to increase the player planet's size. When the planet gets big enough, the goal star will appear. The planet must then place the goal star into its orbit to finish the level. If the planet has any other small planets in its orbit, there will be bonuses. The planet could also collect a hidden crescent in order to unlock hidden levels and find the extra ending. In the process of collecting planets, the player planet must also avoid red planets, meteors, and black holes. If the planet runs into a red planet or a meteor, it will lose a life. If the planet gets sucked into a black hole, it will also lose a life but it will also start the level over.
