Gameplay
In Boxlife, there are 2 modes of gameplay. In R&D mode, you are shown what kinds of shapes are foldable into boxes. Then you are given different shapes of cardboard that you can cut up based on the shapes you are given. You need to use all the cardboard to create the boxes to move on to the next shape. If you make any mistakes in cutting, you could use the tool that allows you to put the squares back together. Once you clear all the shapes, you will be given a score based on your performance. As you score accumulates in R&D mode, you will unlock ranks in Factory mode. In this mode, you are given an endless amount of cardboard that you could use to cut up into boxes within a limited time. Occasionally, a gray cylinder will drop onto the cardboard. This cylinder will gradually turn red before exploding, resulting in the surrounding cardboard to be destroyed. If the cardboard is destroyed, or sent to the shredder at the bottom of the screen, then you will be penalized. You will get more rewards if you fold more boxes and you get bonuses for making multiple boxes in a short amount of time as well as for boxing up the cylinders. Only one cylinder could fit in one box. When the stage is over, you will be paid in-game money based your performance and the money will go towards items for your factory worker. Higher ranks will get you more pay.
