Retired professional baseball outfielder and third baseman Art Shamsky played Major League Baseball from 1965 to 1972. Since 2007, Shamsky has served as the manager for the Modi'in Miracle of the Israel Baseball League.
Shamsky is being sued for $11 million by his ex-wife, Kim Shamsky, for claims that he gave her a STD. She also created a website, www.ArtShamskySucks.com, which she intends to use as a safe-sex campaign. The couple divorced after 12 years of marriage in 2006, after which Art claimed that Kim was abusive and threw "temper tantrums".New York Post: Amazin' Ambush!
