Team History
Originally founded in 1886 by workers at the Woolwich Armament Factory in South London, the Arsenal F.C. was first named Dial Square. In 1891 the team was renamed Woolwich Arsenal, when they turned into a professional football club. Shortly after World War I in 1904, they became part of the Football League First Division, which at the time was the top league in England.During the 1930-1931 season, Arsenal F.C won their first championship, which they also won the following year. Since then they have won thirteen Premier League and First Division titles and ten FA Cups. In July 2006 the team moved into their new stadium, Emirates Stadium in Holloway, North London.
