Canadian professional hockey player Arron Asham plays for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League.

NHL Career
Asham was drafted 71st overall in the 1996 NHL draft by the Montreal Canadiens. He played two additional seasons with his junior team, the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League, before joining the Canadiens' American Hockey League affiliate, the Fredericton Canadiens, in 1998. Asham made his NHL debut that same year, but split his time between the NHL and the AHL. On June 22, 2002, he was traded to the New York Islanders. Asham played in Switzerland, for the EHC Visp, during the 2004-05 NHL lockout. After two additional seasons with the Islanders, Asham signed as a free agent with the New Jersey Devils on August 7, 2007.-
