Bowl History and Results
Initially played as the Fort Worth Bowl, the first game featured the Boise State Broncos defeating the TcU Horned Frogs 34-31 in 2003. The Cincinnati Bearcats won the second bowl game, defeating the Marshall Thundering Herd 32-14 in 2004. Using the name of the Armed Forces Bowl for the first time, the 2006 game saw the Tulsa Golden Hurricane fall to the Utah Utes 25-13. In each game from 2007 to 2009, the Air Force Falcons played in the Armed Forces Bowl.
