• Plot Summary

  College professor and single father Michael Faraday (Jeff Bridges) lives a peaceful life on Arlington Road. After a chance encounter, he meets and befriends his neighbors Cheryl (Joan Cusack) and Oliver Lang (Tim Robbins). As the friendship develops, Michael begins to suspect that there is more to Oliver than meets the eye. An investigation reveals that Oliver may be tied to a terrorist organization responsible for several bombings. Although none of his colleagues believe him, Michael is determined to expose the truth about Oliver, a quest that puts both his and his son's life in danger.
