Arlene Sanford

American director Arlene Sanford is involved in both film and television directing. She helmed episodes of Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal and My Boys, and was nominated in 1999, for an Emmy Award for a 1977 episode of Ally McBeal.The New York Times: Arlene Sanford Filmography In 2008, Sanford received an Emmy nomination for the "Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series" award for "The Mighty Rogues" episode of Boston Legal.

Career Highlights

Arlene Sanford is known as a comedy director, writer and producer. She engaged in all three roles for the HBO film Welcome Home in 1986. In the early 1990s, she directed the films A Very Brady Sequel and I'll Be Home for Christmas. She has been involved with numerous television shows including, Arrested Development, Everybody Hates Chris, Friends and The Starter Wife.
