Ark Of The Covenant

The Ark of the Covenant was a religious artifact used in the ancient Jewish temple and believed to be the throne of God on Earth. It was believed to have disappeared during the Babylonian occupation of Israel ~500 B.C. On July 26, 2009, the leader of the Ethiopian Orthodox Christian church held a press conference in Rome, Italy, to unveil the ark to the world. According to tradition in Ethiopia, the ark has remained there since being stolen by Solomon's son over two thousand years ago.World Net Daily: Ark Revelation... (June 25, 2009)
