Arizona Millionaire Raffle

Arizona is one of several states that periodically hold millionaire raffles as part of their lottery programs. The most recent Arizona Millionaire Raffle was held on January 4, 2010.http://www.lotterypost.com/news/206541 Tickets went on sale November 1, 2009, with an Early Bird drawing being held on November 19, 2009. A total of 300,000 tickets were available for sale. Twenty players won $5,000 each in the Early Bird drawing. Winning Early Bird tickets were also eligible to win prizes in the Millionaire Raffle drawing on January 4. In the January 4 drawing, one million dollar prize was awarded. There were also six $100,000 prizes, 40 $10,000 prizes, 750 $1,000 prizes and 350 $500 prizes. Open houses were held at the Arizona Lottery offices in Phoenix and Tucson to welcome and celebrate winners who came forward to claim their prizes.http://www.azmillionaireraffle.com/check.php

Arizona held its first Millionaire Raffle on December 27, 2007.http://www.lotterypost.com/results/az The drawing on January 4, 2010 was the fifth raffle held in the state. Arizona Millionaire Lottery Rules

  1. A limited number of 300,000 tickets are sold for $20 each.
  2. Tickets are Quick Pick only. Players cannot select their own ticket numbers.
  3. Tickets are non-refundable.
  4. Numbers must match in the exact order of the winning numbers drawn.
  5. All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the raffle.
  6. Prizes must be claimed at an Arizona Lottery office.
  7. In order to claim a prize, you must present your original Arizona Lottery Millionaire Raffle ticket. The Arizona Lottery is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
  8. All prizes are awarded in single lump sum payments.
  9. All prizes are subject to applicable state and federal taxes.
  10. Players must be at least 21 years of age to purchase tickets or claim prizes.
