Over one hundred dinosaur footprints were found in the land now known as Yemen. This is the first time that dinosaur tracks have ever been found on the Arabian Peninsula.
The tracks are said to be 150 million years old and made by sauropods. The footprints were made by a herd of 11 of the large, plant eating dinosaurs. The discovery was made by a journalist from Yemen, just north of the country's capital. He soon alerted a paleontologist to the find.
