  • Aquamarine is a 20th Century Fox fantasy film about two young girls and their discovery of a mermaid named Aquamarine. Claire (Emma Roberts) and Hailey (Joanna Levesque) are best friends about to be separated when Hailey and her mom move to Australia. They have a chance to change their fate by helping a beautiful mermaid named Aquamarine (Sara Paxton) who appears in a local club swimming pool. Aquamarine needs their help to prove to her father that love exists--otherwise she has to return to the ocean and marry a man she doesn't love. The three teenagers set their sites on hunk Raymond (Jake McDorman), but learn that friendship is one of the strongest forms of love.
