Eco-Challenge
Aquafina's Eco Challenge represents their attempt to be more environmentally friendly. The project includes steps such as using 35% less plastic in their half-liter bottle than they did in 2000, and producing more of their bottles directly in their plants. Producing the bottles in-house reduces the number of tractor-trailer loads that consume fuel and pollute the air. The company also maintains that it saves 280 million gallons of water every year using a water recovery system.Aquafina: Aquafina-
