  • Aqib Talib played college football as a cornerback and a wide receiver at the University of Kansas. He left college in his junior year and is now elegible for the 2008 NFL Draft. He is considered to be one of the top defense players in the Big 12 conference, and one of the best cornerbacks in college football.
  • High school athelete

    Talib lettered in football, basketball and track at Berkner High School, where he graduated from. As a junior, he had a 99 yard interception touchdowns, and as a senior, he was named defensive back of the year.
  • College highlights

    As a freshman, Talib played for the Kansas Jayhawks, where he started 9 games of the 11 played. In 2006, he started in all 10 games, and was named All-American as a wide receiver. In the Orange Bowl in 2008, he was named Most valuable Player.
  • 2008 NFL Draft woes

    Talib was invited to Dallas Day for the Dallas Cowboys to look him over for the draft, and he had to cancel. He may not be on the draft board for the first round of picks.
