April Scott is an American actress and model who first appeared in The Shield and CSI: Miami before being cast as a case holder model for Deal or No Deal.
Modeling and Acting Career
Scott began appearing in magazines in 2005 and was named "Girl to Watch" in 2006 from Maxim Magazine. She represented Merle Norman Cosmetics in print and television advertisements before being cast as Daisy Duke in the direct-to-DVD sequel to The Dukes of Hazzard.
Behind The Briefcase
Scott's 2008 autobiography Behind The Briefcase is marketed as a tell-all book about the conflicts that go on behind the scenes of Deal or No Deal. The book also covers Scott's upbringing, and why she traveled to Los Angeles from her hometown in Missouri. She also claims to provide information on how to become a model on Deal or No Deal.
