The Apple Magic Mouse is wireless and runs on Bluetooth technology. The entire surface of the mouse is sensitive to the touch, allowing the user to scroll, and use gestures just like on the screen of the iPod and the iPhone. The Click feature allows the user to click or double click anywhere on the surface. There is a secondary click option that can be enabled and the two click options can be reassigned for left handed users. The mouse scrolls in a 360° pattern with the brush of the finger. Stroking the surface in any direction enables the pan. The mouse easily zooms in conjunction with the control key of the keyboard. Using the 2 finger sweep feature allows the user to slide through photos and image files.http://www.apple.com/magicmouse/
Reviews
Although the innovation of the Apple Magic Mous is progressive, and the design just as impressively sleek, there are some elements which remain from older wireless mouse models. For example, the laser sensor which is not as sensitive as some available competing technology such as Darkfield and BlueTrack. The profile is narrow and requires the user to adjust from the traditional mouse design. Some users also miss the thumb button which is customarily used for horizontal swiping. The mouse does not seem to work flawlessly with PCs either. However, It does make a suitable laptop companion as it is compact and relatively flat, and is a familiar accessory for those already using other Apple products.http://reviews.cnet.com/mice/apple-magic-mouse/4505-3148_7-33783857.html
