August 2008: A three-alarm fire damaged a building at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California. Fire crews battled the blaze, which broke out at approximately 10 p.m. on August 12, 2008, for several hours before extinguishing the flames. Officials with the fire department said the blaze caused structural and smoke damage to one of Apple's six buildings on the campus.
