Appaloosa is an upcoming western film starring A History of Violence co-stars Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen. The film is based on a Robert D. Parker novel of the same name.

Trailer Summary

The trailer opens with gunman Everett Hitch (played by Viggo Mortensen) explaining to his partner Virgil Cole (played by Ed Harris), that they work for the law because they are some of select few people who are "good at guns".IMDb: Appaloosa Trailer The two men arrive in a town called Appaloosa. The place is overrun with gangs, and the town elders ask Hitch and Cole to get the crime under control. The gunslingers visit the invading gangs and begin a war with the convicts. Randall Bragg (played by Jeremy Irons) who plays the lead criminal, confronts Cole, Before the last shot of the trailer, Cole asks Hitch to take care of his woman Allison French (played Renee Zellweger) should should something happen to him. The final scene consists of a shootout between the lawmen and the gangs.
