Ape Escape Academy 2 is a puzzle game for the Sony PlayStation Portable. It was developed by Shift and published by Japanese publisher Sony Computer Entertainment, the video game entertainment subsidiary of the Sony corporation. Ape Escape Academy 2 is a spin-off of Ape Escape which debuted on the Sony PlayStation and has had various sequels and iterations since then.
Release Dates
This is by the far the most unusual game as it has been released already in Japan, Europe, and Australia. Even more peculiar is the fact that it has been on the foreign markets for more than 2 years now with no U.S. release date in sight. According to various sources, including Sony, the game has no plans of yet for a U.S. release. So in the grand scheme of things people will probably have to purchase the European version through an import site of their choice.
Gameplay
Ape Escape Academy 2 is designed as a party type game. It supports both a single-player and multiplayer features. Ape Escape Academy 2 could also be described as a card game in some respect. Examples of games that incorporate cards into the game are Metal Gear Acid and Metal Gear Acid 2. To play the game, you cycle through your given stack of cards, and play them against your opponent.
