Each week during the NCAA Football season, the Associated Press releases the rankings of the top 25 college football teams. For the first time of the 2009 season, the Florida Gators were knocked off the #1 spot as the Alabama Crimson Tide were named the top team on October 18, 2009. Florida regained the top spot the following week. -
