The symptoms can range from an uneasiness to extreme fear depending on the disorder. Having an anxiety disorder can cause a person to discontinue activities in everyday life. Anxiety disorders are considered the most common of all mental disorders.

Many people think that an anxiety disorder should be overcome by pure will power but in reality you can not just will these disorders away. However, there is effective treatment for anxiety disorders. Treatments will vary depending on the type of anxiety disorder. In most cases psychotherapy and medications are used. -
