Anushka Shetty is an Indian film actress. Shetty was born in Mangalore, Karnataka, India on November 7, 1981.
She moved to Bangalore, which is also in the province of Karnataka, to complete her schooling and attend college. Shetty uses the nickname "Sweety" within her family and closest friends.http://anushka.in/
Shetty made her debut in the 2005 Telugu film, called "Super". Since then, Shetty has created a career for herself in both Telugu and Tamil language films. As of July 2010, Shetty has performed in twenty seven films; twenty three of these are Telugu language films and four are Tamil language films. Shetty occasionally performs in the role of playback singer, such as in the films "Super" and "Rendu".
Shetty has also worked as a yoga instructor in the past. Her yoga teacher was Bharat Thakkur.
