After being fired from her position as senior vice president of marketing and business operations for the New York Knicks in January of 2006, Anucha Browne-Sanders filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the team's general manager Isiah Thomas and Madison Square Garden.
Lawsuit Results
On October 2, 2007, a jury found Isiah Thomas guilty of sexual harassment and ordered Madison Square Garden to pay $11.6 million in damages to Browne-Sanders for creating a hostile work environment and unfair dismissal.
